Title: In a Landscape
“In a Landscape” is a dance solo by Steven Vaughn responding to the works of Artistic Luminaries. Willoughby “Bill” Elliott (1943–2016), Severin “Sig” Haines (1946–2023), and Marc St. Pierre (1952–2019) currently on display at New Bedford Art Museum. Vaughn uses the works of the artists to imagine himself alive in the paint as part of the landscapes and as a human experience of the beauty of the world.
